Paper Bag Book Report
1. Choose a book to read independently. Make sure the book is not below your reading level.
2. You are going to analyze your book’s characters, plot, theme, etc. and present your analysis to the rest of the class by completing a paper bag book report.
3. Devise a plan for presenting your paper bag report using the outline provided to you.
4. On the front of the bag you must detail the title, author and publisher.
5. On the left side of the bag tell about an internal conflict.
6. On the right side of the bag tell about an external conflict.
7. On the back of the bag draw a picture of a favorite scene from your book.
8. Choose 5-7 items to place inside of your bag. Each item will represent a significant event, theme, or character from the book.

Make your scene colorful and decorate your bag in the theme that goes with your book. Your paper bag book report should take 3-5 minutes to present.

Greek Mythology Unit
We will be starting a unit on Greek mythology next week. Those of you who are finished with your techSteps project will be starting on the vocabulary readings this week in computer lab. Go to the Greek vocabulary page and complete the readings for group A and group B. You need to click on each of the vocabulary links and read the information in order to complete group A and group B worksheets.
